There is just something about a backyard wedding that gives us all the romantic vibes. Today’s real wedding is a gorgeous backyard affair with a bohemian flair.
We took a classic palette of taupe and blush and made it fresh and modern with lots of texture and a loose organic feel. The bouquets were full of mixed greenery in muted tones with lovely florals that perfectly complimented the nude bridesmaid dresses. We love how stylish all of the ladies look!
The ceremony arch was a real stunner with an asymmetrical design filled with pampas grass, textural greenery, and ruffled feminine blooms. It created the perfect backdrop for our gorgeous couple.
And then we have the reception design! Oh my, we just can’t get enough of this intimate backyard setup. With the tables nestled throughout the yard underneath glowing string lights, it just couldn’t be more perfect. We used two centerpiece styles to create a varied look: a low, romantic style repurposing the bridesmaid bouquets and a more dramatic design with tall, bohemian floral centerpieces on minimal gold stands. We really love how the tall centerpieces draw the eye up and perfectly tie in with the ceremony arch.
Consider this our official request to bring back backyard weddings! We can’t get enough!

Bright Pink, Coral, and Fuchsia Garden Wedding, Marie Gabrielle Gardens
Hello 2021! It’s officially a new year and we wanted to welcome it with the bright & bold energy of this incredible Bright Pink, Coral, and Fuchsia Garden Wedding!
Our couple tied the knot at Marie Gabrielle Gardens, the most perfect hidden spot in the city center of Dallas. This venue provides a gorgeous garden setting and canopy of trees for beautiful outdoor events and this one is no exception!
How to Pull of a Bright Wedding Color Palette
Choosing a very saturated wedding color palette can be an intimidating feat but there are some tried and true tips to pull it off beautifully!
First of all, choose a neutral shade or finish to tie everything together. Here you can see the bridesmaids in rose gold sequin gowns and the reception tables are filled with gold accents and romantic candle light. This ties all of the bold colors together and gives them a complimentary hue to pop against.
We also love how the florals are incorporated in impactful moments. With a couple different styles of centerpieces, the floral arrangements really stand out as special and a “wow moment”. For the ceremony backdrop, we created a subtle installation of blooms growing across a geometric background filled with more candles. It was absolute perfection for this evening ceremony.

Three Simple & Warming DIY Holiday Hostess Gift Ideas
It’s hard to believe Christmas is next week and we’re in the final days of 2020! Our team has been busy bustling around completing our final weddings of the year and preparing to enjoy some relaxation and rest.
Today, we wanted to bring you another Haute Home post with fun and simple ideas for DIY Warming Holiday Hostess Gifts! These three ideas are easy to make and are a wonderful way to show appreciate for your friends, family, and even neighbors. We can all certainly use a little extra coziness and warmth this season and these DIY gifts are just the ticket!
Nothing says cozy, winter vibes like getting warm by the fire. We love these DIY Pinecone Firestarters from Something Turqouise. They are especially fun because you can customize them with both colors and scents! Recipients can simply light the wick on the pinecone in their fire pit or fireplace to help get a roaring fire going and let the warmth fill their home. How wonderful!
Stovetop potpourri and simmering spices are a staple of the winter season. They can warm up an entire home and sit simmering in the kitchen all day. This classic recipe from Big Bear’s Wife is wonderful and would make a beautiful gift with all of the ingredients tied up in a festive bag and topped with a ribbon and instructional tag.
Lastly, we are completely obsessed with these beautiful Mulled Wine Ornaments from The Quik Chik. The idea of placing mulling spices in an ornament is just too adorable for words! Paired with a bottle of wine, it is a perfectly festive gift that can be enjoyed now or later. Top with a sweet ribbon and tag, and you are ready for your next holiday gathering. This one is sure to wow!
All of these gifts are easy to execute and, while the ingredients are relatively inexpensive, the presentation will really wow your hosts and hostesses! From all of us at the Haute Floral Team, we hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
Bold Hot Pink & Blush Wedding, The Room on Main
Some days, you just crave a pop of bright color and personality! Today’s real wedding is going to give you just that! Catherine & Craig tied the knot with the most beautiful blush & fuchsia nuptials you ever did see and we can’t wait to give you all the details!
Hot Pink Wedding Floral Inspiration
We think the design our bride Catherine and planner Jaqueline, of Jaqueline Events, created is a perfect example of how to balance a bright hue with a high-end style. The super-saturated hot pink accent color is balanced with lots of creamy and blush details, clear glass, and clean silhouettes.
The biggest pop of color is definitely the stunning bridesmaid dresses! We are absolutely obsessed with just the power statement of these gowns! We used softer pinks and creams in the bridal party bouquets to soften the look and create a more ethereal aesthetic.
Bright Wedding Reception at The Room on Main
We got to have some real fun with the reception design! Our couple envisioned a glamorous style with that bright punch of personality to really bring their style into the gorgeous space at The Room on Main.
With the ceiling being so high, we utilized lots of tall, organic centerpieces on clear glass stands and our crystal candelabras to draw the eye up and bring the color palette throughout the space.
The dance floor was perfectly designed with a beautiful white floor donning the couple’s custom monogram and tons of lush, colorful florals lining the bandstand to really create that opulent feel of a glamorous celebration!
We had such a wonderful time working with this couple and their fantastic vendor team. Special thank you to one of our favorites, Celina Gomez Weddings, for photographing the details so beautifully! Be sure to see the full gallery below, as well as the team who made it all possible!
