Romantic Burgundy Fall Wedding, One Preston Events

Burgundy is one of the quintessential fall tones and we love incorporating this rich hue into weddings for our Autumn Brides & Grooms! Today we’re sharing some romantic Burgundy Fall Wedding Inspiration and we know you are going to love it!

Romantic Fall Wedding Flowers

When it comes to fall wedding flowers, there are so many ways to interpret the season. A lot of times, couples will opt to tweak the traditional palette of reds, oranges, and yellows found in nature in favor of a more moody, simplified color palette. We feel like this wedding is a gorgeous example!

We complimented the rich, burgundy tones with some creamy taupes and warm sandy hues. You also get so much warmth and velvety texture from the back of the magnolia leaves, a fall staple here in the South! When brought together with lots of trailing, organic greenery, you create a really gorgeous aesthetic that captures the season in a unique way!

We also love how the flowers play off the burgundy bridesmaid dresses and floral ties for the guys!

Thank you so much to Maxwell & Gray and Lane Gray Photography for helping us create such a gorgeous event for these two!

Ultra Chic White & Greenery Wedding, Knotting Hill Place

Today’s real wedding may have a neutral color palette of greenery & white, but it is anything but basic! Our beautiful couple tied the knot at Knotting Hill Place in Little Elm, Texas and we are so obsessed with how effortlessly chic every detail came together.

Chic Wedding Inspiration

There is so much we love about this wedding and we wanted to share the top three details that take a neutral palette from beautiful to ultra chic!

  1. Bridesmaids in White. Gone are the days when only the bride wears white. We can’t get enough of how stylish our bride and her girls look in in their floor length gowns with the high slit. There is still no question who is the bride and wow, what an impact!

  2. Keep the other details simple. You’ll notice that most of the other details here are chic black & white to really let the couple shine. The guys are in classic tuxes, the invitation suite & custom gift bags are printed in black & white, and the reception tables are filled with candles to add romantic light to the whole room.

  3. Glass & Acrylic elevate everything. Don’t underestimate how much impact glass & acrylic can make! The clear ghost chairs used for guest seating make everything feel super modern. We used our modern crystal candelabras to add height to the head table without obstructing anyone’s view, and every the ceremony arrangements are placed on clear acrylic pedestals.

This whole look can really only be described as effortless and we love it! Thank you to Taylor Salerno Photography for capturing everything so perfectly.

Blooms & Bubbles, Hot Pink and Coral Flower Inspiration

It’s no secret that we are huge fans of color! Neutrals are always going to be a classic & beautiful selection, but we love it when couples choose to go bold! Today we’re sharing our collaboration with K Scott Events and some feisty hot pink & coral wedding flower inspiration!

3 Tips Pull off a Bright Wedding Color Palette

Now the truth is there are no real wedding design rules. You can 100% do whatever you want! But if you’re into the idea of bold colors & not sure where to start, here’s a three ways to start!

  1. Choose “Analogous Colors” (aka colors that are next to each other on the color wheel!) - A common fear of bright palettes is the design coming off as too garish or looking like a birthday party. Choosing colors next to each other on the color wheel softens the overall effect without losing the punch! This shoot is a perfect example with fuchsia, pinks, and corals. Gorgeous!

  2. Go for a more organic style of floral design - We really do love every style of design and our team designs for every style & type of wedding! So trust us when we say, if you’re timidly approaching a bright color palette, opt for more loose, free-flowing styles rather than the formal or traditional designs. This allows the blooms to have space and greenery helps break up the bold colors!

  3. Soften the effect with lighter & more neutral accents - Think linens, ribbons, place settings, paper elements. By making these elements more subtle, you can really let the bold elements (flowers, shoes, bridesmaid dresses, etc) shine bright!

Pink & Lavender French Garden Editorial, The White Sparrow

Today’s editorial post is the definition of pure magic.

We worked with the talented team of Gold Dust Event Co. to create a dreamy, pastel flowerscape for the photography workshop of Julie Paisley.

Pastel Blush & Lavender Wedding Flowers

For this day, we had so many elements to focus on. The two major moments were the tablescape backdrop and the cake table display.

The backdrop for the table utilized these really dreamy panels of opaque lucite, We added in lots of feminine florals on the panels as well as on vertical structures slightly in front of the panels to create depth in the display. The lucite really created this breathtaking etherial moment that always made the flowers appear to be suspended in mid-air.

On the tablescape, we draped the prettiest soft coral table runner with puddles of fabric trailing off either side of the table. We mimicked the style of the panels on the linens as well by suspending individual blooms throughout the fabric.

Unique Wedding Cake Table Display

The second big display came with the cake table. Butterfly Cakery created the most gorgeous collection of cakes that had a really beautiful hand-painted floral appearance. We used some very French-inspired lanterns to suspend strands of ombre pastel carnations that dripped opulently all around the cake display. What a showstopper!

We had so much fun with this color palette and really embracing our pastel, pretty princess wedding dreams. What do you think of this style?

Yellow & Rust Wedding Inspiration, Hickory Street Annex

It may not quite be Autumn yet, but we are rolling out the welcome mat with today’s post! We recently teamed up with a small group of our favorite vendors to showcase some inspired wedding styles with beautiful linens from our friends at AM Linen Rental.

Our first look is this warm, inviting, whimsical style full of golden yellow & rust hues!

Unique Autumn Wedding Color Palette

We used all of our favorite sunset hues to create this gorgeous design. For the head table, we created whimsical growing style centerpieces full of combo roses, anthurium, amaranthus, butterfly ranunculus, and lots of wild greenery. For the place settings, we used a buttery ivory napkin in a silky fabric and a single spring of greenery to tie the organic elements together.

Can we also mention the incredible Edison bulb installation from Hickory Street Annex? This lighting package is available as an add-on to their venue rental and we think it just makes the coolest statement!

Balancing a Warm Color Palette

At the guest tables, we used a soft slate blue linen to help balance all of the warmth in the flowers and the brick & wood textures of the venue. Hickory Street Annex has so many incredible architectural features and the use of this cooler linen color help accentuate them rather than making everything look too yellow.

Unique Dallas Wedding Florist

We loved using this opportunity to show brides how we can repurpose elements to create a really beautiful ceremony space as well. The head table centerpieces pull double duty as aisle markers and window accents during the vows and then can be easily repurposed during the ceremony.

The Haute Floral team is always looking for innovative ways for our couples to get the most out of their floral budget. We love couples with unique wedding designs and working in tandem to bring that vision to life!

Enjoy this warm, inviting wedding inspiration!
